Arup is seeking a Chartered Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Team in London. You will take design responsibility for projects from inception to completion, working with multi‑professional teams on large UK and international schemes.

The role emphasizes technical excellence, sustainability, and collaborative delivery across global projects, with opportunities to lead and innovate in cutting‑edge buildings and retrofit work.

Qualifications

• Chartered Senior Mechanical Engineer status.
• Right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not offered.
• Experience leading design on large UK/international projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design and delivery of building services systems.
• Direct the comfort and thermal analysis of buildings and spaces.
• Supervise the spatial and technical coordination of building services.
• Manage the production of models, drawings, reports and specifications to budgets and deadlines.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of others, including other disciplines and in‑house specialists.
