Job summary

AECOM Croydon is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the Building Services Design Consultant Engineering team. The role focuses on MEP leadership, client liaison, and delivering major UK and international projects.

The candidate will mentor juniors and drive design excellence across disciplines in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The position requires a strong background in electrical building services, a degree in the field, and experience with Revit.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical or building services engineering, ideally Chartered.
• BPSS or SC security clearance preferred; Sole UK National preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead small project teams on medium to large projects.
• Lead the electrical discipline across major UK, European and Worldwide projects.
• Provide technical input to studies and designs within building services.
• Mentor and train junior engineers to develop capabilities.
• Lead and manage projects within defined budgets and schedules.
