Job summary

The Labour Group is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer for building services in the Greater London area. You will lead electrical building services design across RIBA stages 1-6, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to deliver projects from concept to completion.

We require at least five years' experience and an HNC in electrical engineering. The role offers hybrid working with three days in the office, a competitive salary of £65,000-£75,000 plus package, laptop and

Qualifications

Five years' experience in electrical building services design.
Minimum HNC qualification in electrical engineering or related discipline.
Experience managing projects, coordinating with other disciplines and communicating with clients.

Responsibilities

Produce electrical designs, calculations, specifications and documentation.
Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and other design team members.
Attend design team and project meetings.
Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, public health, structural and architectural disciplines.
Manage project programmes, deliverables and deadlines.
Review contractor proposals, technical submissions and installations.
Mentor junior members of the electrical team.
Work independently with support from the wider engineering and management team.
