Job summary

Its Building People seeks a Principal Electrical Building Services Engineer to join its Bristol team. You will lead technical delivery on diverse projects, balancing performance, value and sustainability.

The role involves guiding multidisciplinary teams and engaging with clients across local, national and international projects. Ideally you bring Chartered status, a strong technical background and a record of winning and delivering building services schemes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher degree in electrical/building services engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status through IET/CIBSE or near Chartership is preferred.
• Proven track record in delivering building services projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants.
• Strong knowledge of sector-specific legislation, regulations and design guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across local, national and international projects.
• Develop innovative and sustainable engineering solutions balancing technical performance and environmental responsibility.
• Lead multidisciplinary design teams and coordinate with external consultants.
