Purosearch Ltd. is assisting with the recruitment of a Principal Electrical Engineer for the Manchester office of an ambitious building services consultancy. This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid working and a chance to lead electrical design on a diverse range of building services projects across the UK.

You will provide technical leadership, manage projects, and mentor junior engineers, with opportunities for career progression as the Manchester office grows.

Competenze

• Extensive experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy environment.
• Sound understanding of electrical design principles, regulations and standards.
• Experience managing projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering; Chartered status advantageous.

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will take a leading role in delivering electrical building services designs, managing projects, developing client relationships and supporting the growth of the electrical engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the electrical design and delivery of building services projects from concept through to completion.

About You

We are interested in speaking with experienced Senior or Principal Electrical Engineers who are looking for the next step in their career.

Ideally, you will have:

Strong experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy environment.

A sound understanding of electrical design principles, relevant regulations and industry standards.

Experience managing projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams.

Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build relationships directly with clients.

The ambition to take on greater responsibility and contribute to a growing business.

A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.

Chartered status would be advantageous but is not essential.
