Job summary

Black & White Engineering, a multi-award-winning engineering consultancy, invites a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Edinburgh team. You will own complex MEP designs across building and infrastructure projects, guiding delivery from concept to completion while building strong client relationships.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to successful project outcomes, and help shape business growth in a culture valuing accountability, integrity, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in an engineering discipline (BSc/BEng or HND/HNC).
• Significant experience delivering complex MEP design projects across building types.
• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, regulations and industry best practice.
• Experience using engineering design software such as Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and communicate complex technical information effectively.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to successful project delivery.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, schedules, and change control processes.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills
