Job summary

WSP is seeking a Principal EIA Consultant to lead environmental elements of energy T&D infrastructure projects across sectors. You will manage bids, project delivery, and financial oversight while guiding environmental design improvements and ensuring high standards in sustainability and compliance.

Collaborating with environmental specialists, engineers and clients, you will develop proposals, engage stakeholders, and promote best practices in EIA and planning across diverse projects

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in EIA or related environmental field.
• Chartered Environmental Status or IEMA membership (or equivalent).
• Experience with EIA processes within multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental inputs for energy T&D infrastructure projects.
• Manage bids, project delivery, and financial aspects.
• Advise clients and multidisciplinary teams on environmental strategies.
• Oversee planning applications, EA/EIA, route optioneering and stakeholder engagement.
