Jacobs is seeking a Principal Ecologist or Associate Director to lead our UK ecology team with a focus on Birmingham, Peterborough, London, and other offices. You will guide strategy, mentor teams and manage high-value client relationships across energy, water, transport and infrastructure projects.

You’ll shape technical delivery, oversee EIA, Habitat Regulations Assessments and Biodiversity Net Gain, and help win new work while developing talent and expanding Jacobs’ impact across the UK.

Formación

• Leadership experience in ecology teams and line management.
• Experience delivering EIA and Biodiversity Net Gain projects.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to win work.

Responsabilidades

• Lead strategic direction for the UK ecology team and contribute to national leadership.
• Mentor and develop colleagues; deliver high-impact leadership.
• Act as trusted adviser to clients, stakeholders and regulators.
• Oversee delivery of Ecological Impact Assessments and biodiversity strategies.
• Design and oversee ecological monitoring and survey programmes.
• Identify, bid for and win new work; raise team profile.
