About the role

As a Principal Recruitment Consultant, you will identify, attract, and place highly skilled IT and tech professionals. Building strong relationships with candidates and clients, understanding their needs, and facilitating the recruitment process will be key to your success.

Responsibilities include:

• Utilizing various channels, including headhunting, to attract potential IT and tech candidates.
• Applying sales, business development, marketing techniques, and networking to attract client business.
• Visiting clients to develop and strengthen relationships.
• Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including negotiations and onboarding.
• Maintaining expert knowledge of technology trends, market news, projects, and strategies.
• Building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective business opportunities within your market.
• Establishing yourself as a market leader in your field.
• Growing new business sales revenue and expanding your delivery function within your client base.
• Reporting weekly on successes, challenges, and market movements; participating in regular growth and development meetings.

About you

• Proven track record in Cyber Security/IT and tech recruitment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in cold calling, winning new clients, and developing long-term relationships.
• Ability to work autonomously and responsibly.
• Passion for and knowledge of the recruitment market.
• Deep understanding of the recruitment lifecycle, including securing exclusivity with clients.
