Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB is seeking a Principal Civil / Structural Engineer to support the delivery of civil and structural subway systems in Devonport, Plymouth. You will lead on refurbishment and new design work, guiding the design team through the lifecycle and coordinating with utilities to meet all design requirements.

The role requires Chartered status or active pursuit, experience with complex subway projects, and strong BIM and regulatory knowledge to ensure safety and compliance across

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer or working toward chartered status (ICE or equivalent).
• Experience designing complex civil/structural subway or equivalent systems.
• Experience with BIM environments.
• Knowledge of civil/structural design and construction regulations and standards.
• Ability to lead design teams and coordinate with utilities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage one or more technical design packages ensuring requirements are met through the design process.
• Provide technical design guidance and review of sub-contractor design to ensure compliance with specifications, standards and regulations.
• Collaborate across engineering functions to integrate designs within the overall facility layout and manage interfaces.
• Maintain the engineering design intent and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
