Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is looking for a Principal Civil / Structural Engineer to support delivery of civil/structural subway systems in Devonport. You will lead design packages, assess condition surveys, and coordinate with utilities to ensure design requirements are met.

The role requires chartered status or equivalent experience in a regulated environment, with strong leadership of design teams throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer with ICE membership or working towards status, or significant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage one or more technical design packages ensuring requirements are met through the design process
• Provide technical design guidance and review of sub-contract design to ensure compliance with specifications, technical regulations and standards
• Collaboration across engineering functions and stakeholders to integrate designs within the overall facility layout and manage interfaces
• Maintaining the engineering configuration of the design intent (change control)
