Mott MacDonald is seeking a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to join the Energy Unit's Nuclear, Defence and Civil division in the UK. You will support design activities, develop client relationships, and mentor junior staff while advancing projects in the nuclear sector.

The role involves leading analysis teams, contributing to bids, and working across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions across the project lifecycle in a collaborative, global environment.

Qualifications

• Chartered with either the Institution of Civil or Structural Engineers.
• Extensive postgraduate experience.
• Experience leading and managing projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis teams on projects.
• Develop client relationships and mentor juniors.
• Review design calculations and produce high-quality documentation.
• Lead bids and estimates and manage multidisciplinary communication.
