Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Principal CS&A Engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team across civil and structural disciplines, including nuclear facilities, to deliver safe and compliant designs.

You will work within a hybrid UK-wide office network, steering project delivery, ensuring governance and quality through all stages, and collaborating with clients and partners to meet programme goals.

Qualifications

• Good, accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer status is desirable.
• Strong technical design capability using British/international standards or Eurocodes.
• Experience delivering through a regulated, quality-assured system.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of CS&A engineers and architects to deliver safe, functional designs that meet requirements.
• Deliver civil/structural engineering design including reinforced concrete, plated steel, maritime structures and nuclear facilities.
• Manage interfaces between Delivery Partners and the design team.
• Develop deliverables list and formats (drawings, specifications, reports, etc.).
