Job summary

Amentum in the UK is seeking a Principal CS&A Engineer to lead a team of civil and structural engineers in delivering design across civil, structural, and nuclear facilities. This hybrid role supports our UK office network, with base in Glasgow.

You will oversee the definition and delivery of reinforced concrete and steel structures, maritime works, and interfaces with delivery partners, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Accredited MEng in Civil Engineering and chartered status preferred.
• Strong technical design capability using British/international standards.
• Experience delivering complex civil/structural projects in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a CS&A engineering team to deliver defined works meeting safety and business requirements.
• Deliver civil/structural design including reinforced concrete and plated steel structures, maritime works, and nuclear facilities.
• Manage interfaces with Delivery Partners and design teams.
• Develop deliverables lists and formats (drawings, specs, reports).
