Job summary

LMR Resourcing is seeking a senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead a team across Oil & Gas, Petrochem and Renewable Energy projects. The role reports to the Engineering Manager and Directors, driving growth of the Civil/Structural team and client-focused delivery.

Responsibilities include leading project teams, contributing to tenders, coordinating site meetings, and ensuring quality deliverables while collaborating with other disciplines. Significant travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Civil and / or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered status preferred but not essential.
• Must have proven experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Renewable Energy sectors or similar.
• Previous leadership / managerial experience is required.
• Knowledge of proprietary software such as Revit, STAAD Pro or Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Civil and Structural Engineers across Oil & Gas, Petrochem and Renewable Energy projects.
• Report to Engineering Manager with direct lines to Directors.
• Continue development and growth of the Civil / Structural team.
• Attend and manage in-house or site-based meetings and reviews.
• Act as client interface for civil / structural enquiries on current or upcoming projects.
• Provide technical input to tenders and proposals and support manpower planning.
• Undertake engineering activities for studies and projects.
• Collaborate with other disciplines as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Undertake client-facing work on sites providing technical advice and operational support.
• Develop technical documents and scope of work packages.
• Undertake design and checking of deliverables according to discipline and area of expertise.
• Liaise with Clients and manage their needs and expectations.
• Undertake short and long-term business travel in support of studies, projects and site services.
• Participate in consulting work when required.
