Job summary

LMR Resourcing seeks a Senior Civil Structural Designer (Revit) on a contract basis for projects in oil & gas, petrochem, nuclear and renewable energy. The role involves developing concepts to detailed designs using Revit and coordinating with civil and structural engineers to ensure deliverables are accurate and timely.

Hybrid working pattern in West Wales with occasional site meetings. Experience in oil & gas sectors and proficiency in CAD/design software are highly desirable for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum HNC in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
• Must have CAD and design software for development of Civil and Structural deliverables.
• Experience using Revit is essential and required.

Responsibilities

• Support a team of Civil and Structural Engineers across Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Nuclear and Renewable energy sectors.
• Develop structural designs from concept through detailed design including steel, concrete, foundations and drainage infrastructure.
• Use Revit to develop designs and manage model quality and integrity.
• Attend and manage in-house or site meetings and reviews.
• Interface with clients and manage their needs and expectations on projects.

Senior Civil Structural Designer (Revit) – Contract – West Wales / Hybrid Working

Location: West Wales / Hybrid

Role & Responsibilities

• Supporting a team of Civil and Structural Engineers in a range of projects covering the Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Nuclear and Renewable Energy sectors.
• Will be responsible for supporting designs using Revit.
• Will be developing structural designs from concept through to detailed design including structural steel, concrete structures, foundations and drainage infrastructure.
• Attend and manage in-house or site-based meetings and reviews.
• Supporting interface for all key Civil / Structural enquiries regarding current or upcoming projects.
• Providing technical input to tenders and proposals as well as supporting manpower planning projections.
• Collaborate with other disciplines as part of the project multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Undertake design and checking of deliverables according to discipline and area of expertise.
• Liaising with Clients and managing their needs and expectations.
• Undertake short and long-term business travel in support of studies, projects and site services.
• Participate in consulting work when required.

Key Skills & Knowledge
