Job summary

Gowling WLG International Limited is seeking a Principal Associate to join the Commercial IT & Outsourcing (CITO) team in Birmingham or London. You will advise on drafting and negotiating IT-related contracts across multiple sectors, including SaaS, outsourcing, licensing and AI clauses.

You will develop and maintain client relationships, participate in business development, and contribute to a vibrant, diverse practice with flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years' PQE.
• Experience drafting and advising on IT contracts to support turnkey projects and day-to-day business.

Responsibilities

• Advise on drafting and negotiating IT-related contracts across sectors.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development.
• Work within a large dedicated commercial IT and outsourcing team across Birmingham and London.
