Job summary

Globalwebindex is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (Lead/Principal) to be embedded with strategic accounts in London. You will own end-to-end deployments of our agentic AI platform, including bespoke integrations, data pipelines, and production-quality code.

Expect high autonomy and a mix of technical and GTM leadership. You will travel 30-50% across the UK and Europe, navigate complex environments (legacy systems, security, compliance), and shape outcomes with a hands-on, founding-engineer

Qualifications

Significant experience in software engineering or customer-facing technical roles with production code delivery.
Experience deploying AI or data-heavy products into large organisations, including real deployments.
Strong full-stack or backend fundamentals, notably Python, APIs, SQL, cloud infra (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Ability to manage ambiguity and convert it into a concrete technical plan.
Clear communication across engineering and commercial audiences; capable of stakeholder tailoring.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end deployments of our AI platform for Tier 1 accounts, including bespoke integrations and data pipelines.
Lead AI agents into production in complex environments with security/compliance considerations.
Partner with Enterprise AEs in late-stage deals, leading POCs and assessing technical readiness.
Surface patterns from the field and feed back to product/engineering as roadmap input.
Build out repeatable deployment playbooks and mentoring for mid-level engineers.
