Job Description:

At Amazon Advertising, we're leading in privacy-first advertising solutions and regulatory-compliant identity frameworks. We're seeking a Principal GTM Lead for our Product Sales Specialist (PSS) team focused on Addressability and Privacy. This role is key in managing the intersection of identity resolution, data privacy regulations (including GDPR, DMA, and emerging global frameworks), and addressable advertising in a changing digital landscape.

The ideal candidate will be an industry veteran with extensive experience in bringing complex products and solutions to market, especially in the EU. As the voice of our customers and global sales teams, you'll guide organizations through privacy regulation complexities while maximizing advertising effectiveness. You'll connect market needs with product development, ensuring our solutions meet both business and regulatory requirements worldwide.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Drive the global Addressability and Privacy sales strategy by acting as the main liaison between Product teams and global sales, focusing on EU privacy compliance and data protection.
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies addressing regional regulatory requirements.
  3. Collaborate with GTM teams to create sales enablement frameworks that communicate our privacy-first approach and compliance measures.
  4. Lead privacy-centric solution development, including consent management, data minimization, and compliance documentation.
  5. Work with Product Marketing to craft narratives around privacy-focused advertising, compliance, and targeting capabilities.
  6. Analyze and communicate industry developments like Google Privacy Sandbox, EU privacy laws, clean rooms, and identity providers to sales teams and clients.
  7. Support sales teams in addressing customer privacy concerns and regulatory needs.
  8. Coordinate with legal and privacy teams to ensure GTM strategies align with current and upcoming regulations.
  9. Develop strategies to build trust with customers transitioning from third-party cookies to privacy-preserving solutions, ensuring compliance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
  • Experience in a professional or military field
  • Experience influencing leadership decisions at the organizational level

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 companies
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Proficiency with identity resolution platforms, DMPs, and customer data platforms
  • SQL/Data analysis skills
  • Deep understanding of emerging identity solutions and privacy regulations globally
  • Experience developing and executing product and sales strategies at a global scale
  • Expertise in building privacy-first sales frameworks and advising on EU and global privacy compliance, including DPIAs
