At Amazon Advertising, we're at the forefront of innovation in privacy-first advertising solutions and regulatory-compliant identity frameworks. We're seeking a Principal GTM Lead to join our Product Sales Specialist (PSS) organization focused on Addressability and Privacy. This role is crucial in navigating the complex intersection of identity resolution, data privacy regulations (including GDPR, DMA, and emerging global frameworks), and addressable advertising in an evolving digital landscape.

The ideal candidate will be an industry veteran with deep expertise bringing complex products and solutions to market, particularly in the EU. As the voice of both our customers and global sales teams, you'll help organizations navigate the complexities of privacy regulations while maximizing advertising effectiveness. You'll bridge the crucial gap between market needs and product development, ensuring our customers understand how our solutions meet both business objectives and regulatory requirements across global markets.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Drive the global Addressability and Privacy sales strategy by serving as the primary liaison between Product organizations and global sales teams, with particular emphasis on EU privacy compliance and data protection requirements.
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive GTM strategies that address varied regulatory requirements across regions.
  3. Partner with other GTM teams to create and maintain sales enablement frameworks that help teams articulate our privacy-first approach and regulatory compliance measures to customers and stakeholders.
  4. Lead privacy-centric solution development and implementation, including consent management frameworks, data minimization strategies, and compliance documentation.
  5. Partner with Product Marketing to develop compelling narratives around privacy-centric advertising solutions, regulatory compliance, and Addressable targeting capabilities.
  6. Analyze, contextualize and communicate industry developments (e.g., Google Privacy Sandbox, EU privacy regulations, clean rooms, identity providers) to internal sales teams and customers.
  7. Support global sales teams in addressing customer privacy concerns and regulatory requirements.
  8. Collaborate with legal and privacy teams to ensure GTM strategies align with current and emerging privacy regulations.
  9. Own the strategy to build trust with customers navigating the transition from third-party cookies to privacy-preserving alternatives while maintaining regulatory compliance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
  • Experience in a professional field or military.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Demonstrated expertise in privacy-preserving technologies (e.g., clean rooms, privacy-enhancing technologies).
  • Experience with identity resolution platforms, DMPs, and customer data platforms.
  • SQL/Data Analysis proficiency.
  • Deep knowledge of emerging identity solutions and privacy regulations across key markets.
  • Experience building and executing product and sales strategies across teams at scale globally.
  • Experience building privacy-first sales frameworks and providing guidance on regulatory compliance matters in EU and global markets, including experience with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and privacy compliance documentation.
