Job summary

City of Portsmouth College is seeking a King's Trust Team Leader to recruit, lead and develop a team delivering Prince's Trust programmes at Highbury Campus. You will drive learning outcomes, ensure safe practice and forge community links to support student progress.

Qualifications

• Evidence of commitment to professional development.
• A good standard of Maths and English.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and lead the team in line with Prince's Trust Toolkit.
• Plan and deliver the programme.
• Provide leadership and health, safety and welfare responsibilities, including disciplinary actions where needed.
• Set programme objectives to meet team and learner needs.
• Conduct regular team meetings and individual reviews.
• Coordinate with community organisations and placements.
• Maintain records of performance and progression for the team and learners.
• Liaise with Prince's Trust to plan and evaluate programmes.
• Keep expenditure records per college procedures.
• Undertake other duties to develop the programme.
