Academics Ltd is seeking an experienced English/ESOL/EAL teacher to lead small group interventions for Key Stage 2 pupils who are new to the UK. The role involves delivering tutor sessions in school and online, with opportunities for either part-time or full-time hours in Westminster.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, and contribute to report writing, supporting vulnerable pupils as they settle into UK education.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching ESOL/EAL to primary pupils.
• Strong English written and verbal communication; report writing.

Responsabilités

• Lead small group interventions for KS2 learners new to UK.
• Plan and deliver English/ESOL lessons in school and online.
• Assess progress and provide feedback to pupils and parents.
• Maintain accurate records and report on pupil progress.

Here at Academics, we are looking for an experienced Teacher with QTS who would like to pick up tutoring work this academic year. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher with an English, ESOL or EAL background who has a proven track record of supporting children in the early stages of learning English develop their language skills and confidence. The successful teacher would enjoy planning and delivering lessons for children in mixed age year groups from 7 to 12 years old to make sure they reach their potential.

This role will develop as you follow the children through school and will have report writing elements to it so you will need excellent English language skills both written and verbal and be confident communicating progress on all levels.

This role could be part time or full time depending on the successful teacher's availability from 3 to 5 days a week. It is essential that you have qualified teacher status to be considered for this role. The position would suit a passionate, empathetic teacher who is confident academically but is also comfortable working with some of our most vunerable pupils who have just started their school life in London.

To join this brilliant Team and put your skills to work, interviews will be arranged In October with the successful QTS qualified teacher joining the team in November.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
