Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking an experienced English/ESOL/EAL Teacher to lead small-group interventions for Key Stage 2 pupils new to the UK who need English support. The role is based in Westminster and involves in-school sessions and online tutoring.

You must hold QTS and have a track record in helping learners develop language skills. The position offers both part-time and full-time options; interviews in October with start in November; pay £30–£40 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching English to KS2 pupils and ESOL/EAL learners.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging English lessons for mixed age groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead small-group intervention sessions for KS2 pupils.
• Plan and deliver English lessons for mixed age groups (7–12 years).
• Maintain progress reports and communicate updates to parents and school staff.
