An outstanding SEN Primary School in Crawley is seeking several Teaching Assistants to support pupils aged 4–11 with complex learning difficulties and disabilities (including PMLD, SLD, ASD, and sensory needs).
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students with tailored learning activities and therapy sessions
Assisting with personal care, feeding, and medical needs (training provided)
Creating engaging, inclusive learning environments that promote independence
Working closely with therapists, teachers, and families to ensure holistic support
Requirements:
Experience working in SEN settings or supporting children with complex needs (preferred)
A nurturing, proactive approach to supporting children's learning and wellbeing
Ability to use a range of communication aids (such as Makaton, PECs) is advantageous
Willingness to undertake training and professional development
