Job summary

New Moston Primary School in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils' learning, wellbeing and development in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

You will work with teachers to deliver activities, manage resources and contribute to safeguarding and high standards, with full training provided. This is a full-time fixed-term role starting 1 December 2026, offering local impact and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' learning, wellbeing and independence, including those with SEND or additional needs
• Work closely with teachers to deliver learning activities, interventions and behaviour strategies.
• Promote inclusion, positive relationships and engagement across the classroom and school.
• Prepare and organise learning resources, maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
