Responsibilities

• Support pupils during teacher-led activities, encouraging independence and participation
• Support whole-class, small-group or 1:1 work, including children with additional needs
• Prepare and maintain a positive classroom environment, including displays and resources
• Promote positive behaviour and support social development in lessons and at break times
• Build positive relationships with pupils to support learning, wellbeing and personal development
• Work with class teachers, support staff and families to create a nurturing, inclusive environment
• Maintain confidentiality, uphold safeguarding procedures and model school values
