Job summary

Academics, a specialist education recruitment agency, is supporting Monmouthshire primary schools to recruit enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting pupils in their learning and development.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside class teachers to provide classroom support, deliver small group interventions and help create a positive learning environment where every child feels confident to participate and succeed. DBS and EWC requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Appropriate Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
• Patient, enthusiastic and committed to supporting children's learning.
• Team player who can work within a wider school team.
• DBS clearance and EWC registration where applicable.
• Ability to provide two professional references.
