GSL Education is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants for primary school opportunities across Lambeth from October 2026. The role involves supporting pupils' learning, development and engagement in the classroom, with potential for day-to-day supply, long-term positions or permanent roles.

You should be confident working with primary-age pupils, have UK school experience, and be available to work across Lambeth from October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-age pupils in a UK school.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school.
• Available for primary school work across Lambeth from October 2026.

Responsabilités

• Supporting pupils across a range of primary year groups.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group learning support where required.
• Supporting pupils who may display behaviour that challenges.
• Using a calm, consistent and positive approach to behaviour management.
• Working alongside teachers to support learning and classroom activities.
• Helping pupils remain focused and engaged with their learning.
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where appropriate.
• Building positive and professional relationships with students.
• Following school safeguarding, behaviour and professional policies.
• Communicating effectively with teachers and other school staff.
