Job summary

The Education Network is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant in Wolverhampton for the September 2026 to July 2027 period. You will provide 1:1 support, small-group intervention, and general classroom assistance to pupils, helping them stay focused and progress with core subjects.

You will collaborate with teachers to prepare simple resources and reinforce learning, contributing to a high-performing school environment. DBS clearance is required or obtainable for the role.

Qualifications

• Degree – A 2:2 or above in a creative subject.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Career Goals – A desire to train as a teacher and build a long-term career in education.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across the school through a mix of 1:1 help, small-group intervention, and general classroom assistance.
