TimePlan Education is seeking a proactive Primary Teaching Assistant for a welcoming three-form entry school in Wythenshawe. You will support pupils across mainstream classes and the dedicated SEN hub, contributing to an inclusive learning environment.

The role offers 1:1 and small-group support, with opportunities to work across year groups and collaborate with teachers and support staff. Immediate to November starts available.

Qualifications

Primary Teaching Assistant - Mainstream & SEN Hub

Location: Wythenshawe, South Manchester

Pay: £95-£100 per day

Contract: Full-time, long-term

Start Date: Immediate and November starts available

The Role

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience working with children in education, childcare, SEN or care settings.
  • A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • An interest in supporting children with additional needs.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant SEN experience would be advantageous, but a positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting children are equally important.
