TimePlan Education is recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant for a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Oldham, Greater Manchester. The role covers general classroom support and 1:1 work with a pupil with additional learning needs, offering valuable school-based experience to progress toward teacher training.

You will work with class teachers to create an inclusive learning environment, supporting learning, behaviour management and pupil development in a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • A patient, nurturing and enthusiastic approach.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Reliability, flexibility and a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience in a school, nursery, childcare or youth setting is beneficial.
  • A Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.

Primary Teaching Assistant - Classroom & 1:1 Support

Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Pay: £95-£100 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Start Date: Immediate and November starts available

The Role
