The Graduate Network is seeking a proactive Primary Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class in a supportive Wolverhampton primary school. The role runs from September 2026 to July 2027 and pays £85 - £101 per day, offering valuable day-to-day classroom experience across English, Maths and the wider curriculum.
Ideal candidates are organized, communicate clearly, and are keen to develop practical classroom skills while helping pupils stay engaged and progress throughout the school day.
Could you be the extra support a Year 4 class needs to stay focused and make steady progress? Are you looking for a primary school role where you can build practical classroom experience across the full academic year?
Provide day-to-day classroom support across a Year 4 class, working with pupils individually, in small groups, and as part of whole-class learning. You will help reinforce learning in English, Maths, and wider curriculum subjects, support classroom routines, prepare simple resources, and work closely with the class teacher to help pupils stay engaged and make progress.
You are organised, encouraging, and able to explain ideas clearly to primary-aged pupils. You want meaningful school-based experience, enjoy helping children build confidence in their learning, and are keen to play a practical role in supporting progress across the school day.
This supportive primary school in Wolverhampton offers the chance to build valuable Year 4 experience in a setting where teamwork, consistency, and purposeful classroom support matter. You will work closely with experienced staff in a role that gives you direct exposure to classroom practice, intervention work, and the day-to-day strategies schools use to help pupils stay engaged and make progress.
