The Graduate Network is recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a Good primary school in Wolverhampton, serving KS2 learners from September 2026 to July 2027. The role offers day-to-day classroom support at a daily rate of £85–£101, with opportunities to gain valuable experience prior to teacher training.
You will work closely with experienced staff, supporting small groups, 1:1 pupils, and whole-class activities, while reinforcing English, Maths, and broader curriculum understanding.
Could you make a real difference to pupils who need extra support to stay on track in class? Are you looking for a primary school role that gives you broad classroom experience before teacher training?
Provide day-to-day classroom support across a KS2 class, working with pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and as part of whole-class learning. You will help reinforce learning in English, Maths, and wider curriculum subjects, support class routines, prepare simple resources, and work closely with the class teacher to keep pupils engaged and making progress.
You are organised, encouraging, and able to explain ideas clearly to older primary pupils. You want meaningful school-based experience, enjoy helping children build confidence in their learning, and are keen to develop the practical classroom skills needed for a future in teaching.
This ‘Good’ primary school in Wolverhampton offers the chance to build valuable KS2 experience in a setting where consistency, structure, and purposeful support matter. You will work closely with experienced staff in a role that gives you direct exposure to classroom practice, intervention work, and the day-to-day support strategies schools use to help pupils stay engaged and make progress across the curriculum.
