Job summary

Simply Education Ltd is recruiting enthusiastic KS1 Primary Teaching Assistants to support learning in Sleaford and surrounding areas from September 2026. Roles range from day-to-day cover to long-term placements across welcoming primary schools.

You will be supported by an experienced education consultant, with access to free CPD training and ongoing registration support. Applicants should be prepared for two years of referencing and a fully enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is essential.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential with suitable experience.
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for education and child development.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in daily classroom activities and learning tasks.
• Support KS1 pupils with their learning and development.
• Assist with behaviour management and pupil supervision as required.

Simply Education is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated KS1 Primary Teaching Assistants for a range of opportunities, including work on a basis of day-to-day cover, full-time, part-time, short-term, and long-term within welcoming and supportive primary schools in and around Sleaford from September 2026.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is essential.
• Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential with suitable experience).
• A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for education and child development.
