Job summary

Simply Education Ltd is recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to support children's learning in Newark and surrounding primary schools from September 2026. Roles include day-to-day cover, full-time, part-time, short-term and long-term placements.

You will work closely with teachers to support learning and development in the classroom, bring patience and enthusiasm, and have access to free CPD training. Please note that two years of references and a fully enhanced DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is essential.
• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
• A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential with suitable experience).
• A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
