Job summary

The ideal candidate will have experience in education, a patient and adaptable approach, and strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teachers and support staff in busy classrooms.

Primary Teaching Assistant

Newark | £85 - £102 per day

Simply Education is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants for a range of opportunities, including work on a basis of day-to-day cover, full-time, part-time, short-term, and long-term within welcoming and supportive primary schools in and around Newark from September 2026.

What We’re Looking For?

• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is essential.
• Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential with suitable experience).
• A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for education and child development.
