GSL Education is collaborating with Special Needs and Mainstream schools in Paignton seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Your role will involve helping students become as independent as possible in daily activities, encouraging their growth across all areas, and assisting with vital life skills. Responsibilities include supporting children with personal care needs such as toileting, dressing, and changing.

Position Details:

• Full-time position starting September 2025

We seek compassionate, patient Teaching Assistants with an adaptable approach, a good sense of humour, and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience supporting children with SEND (professional or personal)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and positivity towards children with additional needs
• Collaborative approach with teachers, parents, and professionals
• Availability to start ASAP on a full-time basis

Additional Requirements:

• UK driving license and own car
• Business insurance (if successful at interview)
