Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Chatham. The role can be full-time or part-time from September, supporting pupils across the primary age range with interventions and classroom assistance to help them grow academically and socially.

The successful candidate will join a caring staff team with strong leadership, benefiting from CPD opportunities, a 24/7 consultant onboarding service, and a PAYE payroll system to ensure proper tax

The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on either a full-time or part-time basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the primary age range, delivering targeted interventions, providing classroom support, and encouraging children to develop both academically and socially.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children within a UK primary school setting

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
