Protocol Education is recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant in Redbridge, East London, to work with a welcoming school and support children's learning and wellbeing.

You will assist the class teacher, support pupils academically and pastorally, promote inclusive, positive behaviour and help create a safe classroom.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils both academically and pastorally. You will help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning across the curriculum.
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supporting children who may require additional assistance with their learning or behaviour.

• Experienced working with children in a school, nursery or similar educational setting.
• Ideally holds relevant qualifications or previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, although strong candidates with transferable experience will also be considered.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
