TipTopJob is recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant to support EYFS, KS1 and KS2 across local primary schools in Horsham. You will assist the Class Teacher, help deliver high-quality lessons and ensure all pupils stay engaged through the day.

Role offers term-time hours roughly 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with weekly pay. A strong DBS and commitment to safeguarding are valued as part of joining our local education network.

Qualifications

Your Role as an Educational Partner

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you are the backbone of the classroom, ensuring lessons run smoothly and pupils remain engaged.

  • Small Group Interventions: Lead breakout sessions to support pupils who need an extra boost in core subjects like English and Maths.
  • Creative Classroom Management: Assist the teacher in preparing resources, creating displays, and managing classroom behavior to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Holistic Pupil Support: Assist with the social and emotional development of students, helping them build resilience and teamwork skills.
  • Collaborative Success: Work closely with the Class Teacher to track pupil progress and ensure a safe, inclusive, and high:energy learning environment.
