Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant in Warrington to support learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The role offers flexible patterns, with day rates of £90–£115 and guaranteed pay schemes.

Ideal candidates have prior primary school experience, a current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply), and a caring, proactive approach to helping children succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience working in primary schools with EYFS/KS1/KS2.
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Enthusiastic, compassionate and adaptable approach to daily classroom needs.

Responsibilities

• Support class teachers in setting up activities and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups to boost literacy, numeracy and engagement.
• Assist pupils with SEN/additional needs using patient, tailored support strategies.
• Promote positive behaviour and help keep pupils focused and safe throughout the school day.
• Assist with progress tracking and provide feedback to the class teacher.
