Job summary

TeacherActive are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to work in South Gloucestershire on a day-to-day basis. You will support pupils with learning, including SEND, and assist the classroom teacher to maintain an inclusive and positive learning environment.

The role covers KS1/KS2, with opportunities to develop through CPD and market-leading pay. A supportive team of consultants is available to guide onboarding and placements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a primary school setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning and create an inclusive learning environment.
• Assist the class teacher with classroom activities.
• Help pupils across KS1 and KS2 and support SEND pupils.

TeacherActive are looking to hire a Primary Teaching Assistant in the South Gloucestershire on a day-to-day basis, working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, including children with additional needs or SEND, assist the class teacher with classroom activities and help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Experience supporting children with additional needs or SEND
• Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
