Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting experienced teachers for long-term, short-term and day-to-day roles in Bury and surrounding areas. You will teach across different school settings, adapt to timetables and support pupil progress with a flexible approach.

Ideal candidates hold QTS, have recent references and a commitment to safeguarding, with strong classroom management and collaborative skills to work with school staff and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification for the role.
• Recent references covering the last two years of employment and/or relevant activity history.
• All gaps in employment or activity history must be fully explained and accounted for.
• Previous teaching experience in a UK school setting is desirable.
• Strong classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible, professional and positive approach to teaching.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to undertake the necessary safeguarding checks.

Responsibilities
