Ribbons & Reeves are seeking a Primary-trained Teacher to join their specialist ASD/SEN provision in Thurrock. You will teach a small secondary-aged class, using your Primary teaching experience to deliver engaging learning across a broad curriculum.

The role suits a calm, patient educator who enjoys cross-curricular teaching and developing pupils’ communication, independence and social skills, while maintaining high expectations for progress within a supportive SEN environment.

Qualifications

• QTS with a Primary teaching background.
• Experience teaching across the Primary curriculum.

• Strong differentiation and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach a small secondary-aged class using your Primary teaching background.
• Adapt lessons to pupils' abilities, communication styles and interests.
• Maintain high expectations while making learning accessible and meaningful.
• Support pupils to develop communication, independence, confidence and social skills.
• Be comfortable teaching across multiple subjects and adapting for additional needs.
