Job summary

Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to work with pupils in Key Stage 1–2 with complex needs at a Bromley school. The role involves delivering tailored lessons in a supportive environment, developing communication, independence and life skills, and collaborating with therapists and staff.

You will join a highly supportive team with small class sizes, and with two Teaching Assistants in every class. QTS or equivalent and experience with ASD are essential for an ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience or strong understanding of supporting students with ASD and complex needs.
• Secondary school teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver personalised lessons using a differentiated secondary curriculum.
• Support students with ASD and complex needs across Key Stage 1/2.
• Collaborate with therapists and other professionals to support learning.
• Create a structured and supportive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Lead and work closely with the classroom support team.
