Job summary

The KS2 Primary Supply Teacher role in Sandbach is a full-time temporary position starting September 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging KS2 lessons, foster a positive learning environment and support pupils to achieve academically and socially. Initially until Christmas with a potential extension for the right candidate.

QTS in the UK and KS2 experience are required, with an enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one. Collaboration with staff and safeguarding are emphasized.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A flexible, adaptable and positive approach to teaching.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to raising standards and ensuring positive outcomes for all pupils.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Salary: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Primary Supply Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school from September 2026. This full-time role will initially run until the Christmas break, with the potential to be extended further for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons within Key Stage 2, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential academically and socially.
