Job summary

The Edwin Group is seeking a proactive KS2 Teacher for a full-time, temporary position in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The role focuses on a larger-than-average Year 5 class, delivering differentiated lessons aligned with the Upper KS2 curriculum, starting in December 2026 with potential to become permanent.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching within KS2 with strong knowledge of the Upper KS2 curriculum.

Responsibilities

KS2 Teacher (Full-time, Temporary)

£670 - £1308.90 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

December 2026 – July 2027

The School and Role

A Primary School based in Newcastle Upon Tyne are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and experienced Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team. The successful candidate will be working within a larger than average Year 5 class and they must be knowledgeable of the Upper KS2 curriculum and providing differentiated learning. This is a full-time role, commencing in December 2026, with potential to turn permanent.

Requirements

• Experience of teaching within KS2.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
• An excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
