The Northumberland Church of England Academy Trust is seeking passionate Primary Teachers for multiple schools in Ashington and Newbiggin. The roles, across KS1 and KS2, include both full-time and part-time positions and are fixed-term maternity cover starting September 2026.

Successful candidates will deliver engaging lessons, build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues, and contribute to a caring, high-achievement environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of teaching in Primary and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons meeting the needs of all children.
• Experience across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum and meet the needs of all pupils.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel safe and motivated to learn.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, specialist staff, and senior leaders.
• Maintain accurate records, including attendance, assessments, and behaviour logs.
• Uphold the school’s values, policies, and code of conduct.
