Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Northumberland is seeking a KS1 Teacher to join a primary school in Ashington from October 2026. The post will be 3 days per week in Year 1, delivering the KS1 curriculum including Read, Write, Inc Phonics.

The role is temporary until December 2026, with competitive PAYE rates (£600–£1,308.90 per week) and a supportive team. QTS is required; KS1 experience and SEND knowledge are beneficial.

Qualifications

• KS1 teaching experience is essential.
• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS1 in Year 1 classroom (3 days per week).
• Deliver Read, Write, Inc Phonics and KS1 curriculum.
• Adapt lessons to multiple ability levels and support SEND learners.
