Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is helping a warm primary school in Kirklees find a confident, experienced KS1 Teacher to lead a class from day one. The role focuses on phonics, early literacy and early maths, creating a calm, engaging learning environment.

You will support pupils of all abilities, manage behaviour, and work with a supportive agency backing to ensure smooth placements and ongoing professional development around KS1.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching KS1 with confidence to manage a class from day one.

Primary School Teacher (KS1)

We're working with a warm, welcoming primary school in Kirklees who are looking for a confident, experienced KS1 Teacher to join their team. If you know how to bring phonics, early literacy and early math's to life - and you're comfortable taking charge of a KS1 classroom from day one - this role will suit you perfectly.

You’ll be creating a calm, engaging learning environment, supporting pupils of all abilities and keeping lessons structured, fun and consistent. Strong behaviour management and a proactive approach are key, as the school values teachers who can slot in smoothly and keep things running without fuss.
